Quality Inn Lynchburg Near University

I liked the convenience to Liberty University and the downtown part of Lynchburg.

I thought the hotel was very nice. The only thing negative was the shower curtain had an odor of old smoke. Otherwise, the hotel was nice and clean, smell and otherwise.

It was convenient to the mall and the nearby college campus.

You should make a key entry for the lobby.

The room was well-appointed and spotless with central heating, TV set and a sitting area.

Nice building and rooms with 2 double beds. Good and decent location in a nice enough area within minutes of a movie theater and a theater. Fast check in, reasonable prices. Late check out. The nicest place to stay when traveling to Lynchburg.

Availability of breakfast should be extended past 10 am (to 11 am possibly).

We looked online for a hotel that was a half way point in our 12 hour driving trip from north to south. We were soo pleased with the ease of finding the hotel from the highway, the quick late check in and our room. The in room microwave and fridge were a real convenience too. In fact, we liked it so much, we booked a room for our return home !! Thanks Hampton Inn !

convenient base for exploring lynchburg's charm and parks

I found my stay very pleasant as the friendly staff made check-in easy, and I loved how close I was to the Lynchburg Museum, just over 6 km away, and the beautiful parks nearby that are perfect for a weekend stroll.

We were in Rm.221. The temperature control was horrendous. When it was cooling, the noise was very disturbing. The temp varied from minute to minute markedly. This was most prominent our 3rd night. We did not like the quilt cover, too heavy, too bulky, too complicated for my mate and it always ended up in two pieces which took me a longtime to reassemble. We've stayed at this hotel a few times in years gone by but will probably not use it on our next va visit.

As an outside salesman I am required to be in hotels 75 to 90 nights a year. This hotel was one of the poorest bangs for the buck that I have seen!

The front desk staff was excellent, especially Steve, he was friendly. After I had a small issue with my room, they quickly moved me to another one without any hassle.

It wasn't inexpensive but still reasonable for the services provided.

We evacuated here for Hurricane Irene. Booked here because you accepted our dog. Were highly impressed with quality of room, service/staff and all the extras. Will definitely stay here again - have the number in my cell phone!

I really liked the breakfast: there were a lot of choices to eat & the food was fresh. The waffle was delicious. Hampton Inn is close to shopping and other attractions.

I loved lounging by the pool and enjoyed a great breakfast each morning. The only hiccup was a slight delay in getting extra towels, but it didn't ruin my overall experience 😊

Particularly good and decent setting, I had really comfortable time.

The breakfast had good choice of coffee, cereal, pastries and fruit. The staff were all best, attentive.
